About this event
As part of Gun Violence Awareness Month this June, Crime Survivors Speak will host a powerful national webinar led by Aswad Thomas, bringing together a panel of Black men who have survived gun violence and are now leading a movement for change in their communities.
Too often, conversations about gun violence center on loss, the lives taken, and the grief carried by families and communities. While those stories are critically important, there is another narrative that is too often overlooked: the lived experiences of those who survived.
This webinar will create a space for Black men who have endured the trauma of being shot, lived to tell their stories, and highlight how they have transformed pain into purpose by giving back to their communities.
